Summer Reading

After reviewing my summer reading list, I think I might have been a tad ambitious.  I’m mean, sure, there’s no actual rule that says I have to finish all of these books by summer’s end; that went out the window after high school.  But, one of my favorite things to do in summer is read outside, wether it be poolside, on the beach, or on a comfy chair in my backyard.  I’m running out of time and winter doesn’t really lend itself to al fresco around here.  Here’s what left of my list.  What’s still on yours?

{ google search, sorry can’t remember! }

  1. My Life in France – Julia Child
  2. A Visit From The Goon Squad – Jennifer Egan
  3. The Sisters Brothers – Patrick DeWitt
  4. No Great Mischief – Alistair MacLeod
  5. Starting From Happy – Patricia Marx
  6. Us – Michael Kimball
  7. The Borrower – Rebecca Makkai
  8. The Imperfectionists – Tom Rachman
