Let’s Talk Face Oils

faceoilI think a lot of people cringe at the idea of face oils. Putting oil on your skin when you’re apt to shininess or prone to breakouts may seem counterintuitive, but it’s not, seriously. The plant oils used in face products are the non-comedogenic kind, which means they aren’t pore-clogging; so while everyone’s skin reacts differently, these facial oils won’t be the cause of breakouts for most. That’s good news because these babies are great sources of moisture. My face gets super dry during the winter months and whenever I use a facial oil, my skin feels so rejuvenated. I find it best to apply almost immediately after cleansing, when your skin is still slightly damp. It helps to seal in moisture as well as in application.
